Was Kovalchuk worth it when you can't even field a full lineup to support him? Hockey is a team sport. You've just sacrificed the entire team for one person. Yeah, Kovi's a damned fine player, but, one person isn't going to win you the Cup by himself. Worse, when you pin the life and death of your franchise on that player, you end up overplaying them and they get hurt. And, right now, you got no way of filling in the gaps of the inevitable injuries.
God, what a freaking embarrassment. Your team's ownership and management needs to be sued for gross negligence or professional malpractice. WTF.
